Lucia BondarAnna Avetova
Hardcover,
235 x 305 cm, 240 pages,
English-Ukrainian
ISBN 978-617-95044-4-0
Release year: 2022

EMERGING ART in Ukraine is the first full-fledged publication about young art in Ukraine, the development of which took place in recent years. The authors of the book are Lucia Bondar, the publisher of Creative Publishing, already known for its high-quality books, and Anna Avetova, a professional art expert and curator, the founder of the TUASHO art agency.

The authors use the name EMERGING ART for the project, because they want to demonstrate to the world young Ukrainian talents of the new era, who have an individual style, specialized education, exhibition experience, and whose creativity is promising. Who grew up both as individuals and as creative artists together with our country in the era of independence. The project showcases various works of art: painting, collage, digital art, photography, sculpture, textiles. The works also differ in size, flatness, subject matter, colors, etc.

Along with the works, the reader will find information about the biography of the artists, as well as answers to the questions – what is art for them and where do they get inspiration from, about the manifestation of national identity in works, changes in creativity during the war and, of course, about hope – the future of Ukrainian art.
