The book ILLUSTRATION in Ukraine is a unique, absolutely first book presenting artistic achievements of Ukrainian artists – illustrators. The book was created in cooperation with the Ukrainian illustrators’ club PICTORIC.
Illustration is not just, and not so much in the usual sense, a part of a book or a project. Illustrations are works of art, technically complex and emotionally colored art objects. The selection of works by the illustrators presented in the book is a cross-section of the creative works of young Ukrainian talents. Every artist is a distinctive personality, an individual with their inner world, background, thinking space, sources of inspiration, media and styles, their creative quest. In addition to the illustrations in the book, you will also find information about their authors.
